German silver (white brass, new silver, nickel brass, nickel silver) CuNi12Zn is in a soft state. The sheet thickness is 3 mm. The hardness is approximately Rm 430 MPa, HV 110.
Designation EN CW403J.
Tolerance on length and width is +- 2 mm.
The color of the sheet metal may be different due to oxidation. This is not a flaw in the sheet metal.

I soften the brass by annealing the brass at 600 °C and slowly cooling it at room temperature.
This process is irreversible and is no longer hardened because the residual stresses caused by the cold rolling production process have been eliminated by annealing.
